Agate fills cracks or veins in volcanic rock creating a succession of parallel lines known as banding. Agate typically features two different types of banding: wall-lining banding and horizontal banding. Formed in Malawian volcanoes, these vibrant azure agates possess both types of banding, druzy crystals and have been polished around the edges. Geodes are spherical rock formations with crystals of minerals inside. These two agate geodes feature amethyst crystals inside and have been polished by hand.
Metaphysical: Agate vibrates at a slower frequency than other stones akin to its calming effect. Agate is excellent for harmonizing and balancing the body, and for eliminating negativity energy.
