Pietersite is a type of Quartz that gets its patterns from smaller fibrous forms of Quartz. These fibers reflect light in a way that is called Chatoyancy, creating the same effect seen in Tiger's Eye or star Sapphires.

Good for intuition, journeys, and courage.
