Not a true Mineral, Shungite is a trade name for a range of noncrystalline carbon-rich stones (like oil or coal). Shungite started as ancient swamps, which were buried and did not decay, but instead were compressed into carbon-rich deposits over millions of years. Putting Shungite in drinking water is NOT advised, as it can release heavy metals, including Lead, Nickel, and Arsenic.
Good for protection, grounding, and balance. Shungite offers electromagnetic field (EMF) protection.
Please note, that each crystal is unique and may have variations in color, shape, and other natural characteristics. The images are only a small representation of our collection.
