Sunstone is a type of Feldspar rock that reflects light with a property called Schiller. The Schiller is often made of small Hematite crystals that sparkle and catch light. Depending on the type of Feldspar, Sunstone can be colored light orange, dark brown, or any variation in between.Moonstone is also a Feldspar rock with slightly different proportions of minerals. Feldspar can grow with lighter colored zones (Sunstone) and darker colored zones (moonstone) mixed together.
